Dear Jesus City family,

God has truly done amazing things and we are praising HIM for all He is doing at Jesus City Church!

We are so very excited to announce that we are celebrating our two year church anniversary this coming Sunday, September 24th! We will be having two amazing services at 9am and 11am with a special charcuterie board party and free ice cream, from the Brewster’s Ice Cream truck, after both services!

We invite you to bring your friends and family and join us as we praise God for His amazing works and the countless prayers He has answered these last two years at Jesus City Church. God has truly changed so many hearts and lives through the love and power of His Son, Jesus Christ!

As Mary and I look back on the last two years we see God’s abundant faithfulness over and over again. He told us that He would be with us as we followed His call to leave California and come to Montgomery Alabama; and He has fulfilled every single promise! Truly, nothing is impossible for mighty God! We have watched Him move mountains, open doors, provide abundantly, direct our steps and do the miraculous. He has changed lives, saved the lost and mended the broken.

Not only has He done the impossible but He has also given us such a precious gift; each and every one of you! Each person that attends Jesus City has become part of our family and part of our heart. We have tears of joy and thankfulness as we reflect on the many friendships that have enriched us as a family for over two years.

Each and every team member has also been a tremendous answer to prayer and incredible help and encouragement to us as we have plowed the field! So many of you have tirelessly helped, encouraged and supported us and we are forever grateful for each of you. From greeters, to welcome teams, to sound and technical support, to worship, prayer, children’s ministry, youth ministry, security and SO many, many more; we consider all of you a precious gift from the Lord to our church and our family.

Please join us in celebration this coming Sunday; we are so excited to praise God together!
